Jack Norman Kann, 75, passed away at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday, July, 26 2016 at Good Shepherd Hospice Hospital in Auburndale, FL. He was the husband of the late Linda R Yingling (Hake) of Dover. Born October 8, 1940, in Manchester, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Viola M. Kann (Hahn) of Starview.
Jack was a 1959 graduate of Manchester High School. He retired from Consolidated Freightways in 1995 as a truck driver.
He was a member of the 13th Ward Political Club, Wago Club and Mt. Wolf VFW.
Jack is survived by a grandson, Dalton Frye of York; two daughters, Angela Frye-Scheidler and husband, Matthew of York and Lorri Yingling of Dover; a sister, Darlene Geesey and late husband, George of Manchester; nephew, Matthew and wife, Donna and daughter, Kathryn of Fort Mill, SC; and niece, Susan of Elizabethville.
Jack was an avid NASCAR fan and loved watching his grandson, Dalton, race go-karts and stock cars.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation Wednesday evening, September 7 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the York County Racing Club, 4255 N. Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17404.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The York County Racing Club's Injured Drivers Fund, 568 Yale St., York, PA 17403.

Darlene J. (Kann) Geesey
Manchester - Darlene J. (Kann) Geesey, 73, of Manchester, passed away at 9:40 PM, Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at Colonial Park Care Center in Harrisburg. She was the wife of the late George H. Geesey, Jr. who passed away March 4, 1999.
Darlene was born June 11, 1947 in York and was the daughter of the late Charles and Viola (Hahn) Kann.
She graduated in 1965 from Northeastern High School in Manchester. She was employed as a secretary for both Northeastern School District and York County High School. She was a member of the United Methodist Women, Church Choir, Girl Scout Leader and Messiah United Methodist Church in York.
Darlene is survived by her daughter Susan "Sue" Geesey of Elizabethville, PA; her son,, Matthew Geesey and his wife Donna of Fort Mill, SC and one granddaughter, Kathryn Geesey.
A memorial service to celebrate Darlene's life will begin at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 17, 2020 at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Manchester Union Cemetery. Officiating at her service will be Reverend Michael Sigman

ZION VIEW -- Raymond (Skip) Dawson Kann, 37, husband of Mrs Maxine M Baker Kann, York R D 4 near Zions View, died Friday at 8:45 am at York Hospital.
Mr. Kann was born in York, son of Raymond H. and Florence Gates Kann, now of Emigsville. He was employed by Caterpillar Co. until January, 1973 when he retired because of Ill health. Mr. Kann was a member of Alert Fire Co, Emigsville, and Snow Shoe Hunting Club. He served in the Army from 1959 to 1962 and saw service in Korea.
Surviving also are two children, Karla Sue and Chris Alan Kann, both at home and a brother, Lynn Kann, York R D 4.
The Rev. B. A. Harris of Strinestown UB Church will officiate at services Monday at 11 am at the Little Funeral Home, 60 S. Main St, Manchester. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, near Dallastown.
The family suggests memorial Contributions be made to the York County Unit, Amercan Cancer Society.

John Snyder Kann, 78, of Lewisberry, passed away, Friday, November 4, 2022, at his home in Lewisberry. He was the husband of Karen L. (Kennedy) Kann who he married 48 years ago on June 29, 1974. John was born November 6, 1943, in York and was the son of the late Rufus and Gladys (Snyder) Kann. He graduated in 1961 from Central York High School. He was employed by Spangler and Boyer Mechanical in York for over 10 years before retiring in 2008. He also owned American Trade Masters in York and was previously employed by C. J. Beshore and Sons, Inc. in York. He was a member of the Dillsburg, V.F.W. Post 6771; Dillsburg American Legion, Post 26; Eastern Museum of Motor Racing and Historical Steam Engines Association. John proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In addition to his wife, Karen, John is survived by his sons, Joshua Kann of Boiling Springs, PA and Johnathan Kann and his wife Rebecca of Boiling Springs, PA; three granddaughters, Lilly, Kira, and Kacey; his brother, James Kann, Sr. of York and his sister, Judith Swift of Seven Valleys. Services and burial will be private at Fort Indiantown Gap Military Cemetery in Annville, Lebanon County, PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
